Welcome to Jelly!
Established in 2004, Jelly Games has been providing quality C&C Renegade servers for players. Jelly, together with his admin team sought to have a place to play free from server side modifications that changed the core gameplay of Renegade. It has gone from that one humble server, to a large community, hosting 2 Renegade servers, a TeamSpeak server, as well as an IRC network. Wanna join the fun? Register today!
How To Connect To Servers When Westwood Online (Xwis) Is Down
Posted by lazy568613.03.13
The XWIS servers have been attacked over the last few days and constantly taken offline, so our server is currently running only on GameSpy mode. RenList is probably the easiest way to connect to servers.

1. After installing renegade with the serial that came with your purchase, download and install the Tiberian Technologies 4.0 patch to update your game to the latest version.
2. There are two ways to join the server that i find the least complex:
Renlist
Renlist is a third-party program that allows you to retrieve server information for all the active servers. Go here to download it, instructions are contained in the readme.
Direct Connect
This is how i connect. The direct connect method allows you to create a shortcut that will automatically join a specified server upon execution. To set one up:

Go to the folder where you've installed renegade, and in the 'Renegade' sub-folder there will be an icon called 'game.exe'. Create a shortcut for it and place this on your desktop.

Right-click on your new shortcut and add the following to the end of the path contained in the 'target' dialogue box: +connect 69.162.65.2:8113 +netplayername "<PLAYERNAME>"
where <PLAYERNAME> is the nick you want to use.

Click apply
This will now connect you directly to our marathon server when you double-click on the shortcut.
3. Enjoy!
------------------------
As EA no longer provides online support for the game, you also have the option of 'registering' a nickname with XWIS, the group that took over Westwood Online. Use this method if you wish to use the 'Multiplayer Internet' tab in your renegade in-game menu. I wouldn't recommend it, as in my opinion it's an ambiguous, unstable method, but it has it's benefits. Instructions on this method can be found here.
Don't forget to join our IRC server either, at irc.jelly-server.com.

Rule Change: Islands Base-To-Base
Posted by crypt17.02.13
Further to a recent public discussion
here, we have decided that the base-to-base firing rule for CnC_Islands will be changed, effective from
12am CST on Monday 18th of February.
For a detailed description of the new ruling, please see below:

Both teams must pass the
second river before firing on an enemy structure. This means that vehicles have to be on the island adjacent to the enemy's base, as detailed in the above diagram: Nod can fire from anywhere within the red-shaded area, GDI can fire from anywhere within the yellow-shaded area.

Infantry will continue to be permitted to fire on enemy structures from anywhere on the map, provided they are past the
first river and off the island that their base is on, as indicated by the red line in the diagram.
Please note that whilst we do understand the current rule has been in place for a long time, and it may take a while for players to familiarise themselves with the change, this rule will be enforced just as any other; you will be warned and if you choose to continue offending, you will be kicked from the server.
Your co-operation is much appreciated.
Thanks guys!
Tunnel Beacons On Field Not Allowed
Posted by Uufje23.01.13
Due to a recent poll here, there has been a change in the Marathon rules. Tunnel beacons on Field are disallowed effective immediately. They're illegal altogether, even when buildings have been destroyed already.
